Ailing Palestianian leader Yasir Arafa, arrived in France today as the guest of the French government and was immediately taken to a military hospital for treatment of what is being called a mysterious ailment.

NAACP President Kweisi Mfume and Chairman Julian Bond described the just announced IRS investigation of their organization's tax exempt status. At issue is a speech that Bond gave at the group's annual convention this summer. The federal government is investigating whether the speech was partisan.
