THE CBS-MOVE-ON CONTROVERSY

The activist group Move-on.org is seeking to air a 30 second commercial on CBS this Sunday during the Superbowl. The ad is critical of the current federal deficit. But CBS is refusing to air the ad, saying it never accepts issue-oriented ads. Our guest, Matt Bivens, is a columnist for the Nation Magazine. Sandra Hochman wrote and directed "Year of the Woman" on the Democratic Convention in 1972. She was a delegate there for Shirley Chisholm. It was shown in New York for one week and has been in storage ever since. It will be shown at the Sarasota Film Festival Sunday, January 25 at 6:45 pm and Tuesday, January 27 at 12:30 pm.
