PAY INCREASE FOR USF PRESIDENT

Interview with Dr. Susan Greenbaum, Vice President of the faculty Senate at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She commented on the 37% pay increase given to USF President Dr. Judy Genshaft. Greenbaum noted that the pay increase comes at a time of stagnant or near-stagnant wages for USF staff and faculty. At the same time the board of trustees is exercising greater influence on the campus, services to students are being reduced, tuition is being increased and financial aid is being cut.
