Last week the Pew Research Center released an extensive study showing that the number of self-identified christians are on the decline, falling 8 percentage points in the last 7 years, according to the survey. Meanwhile the numbers of the religiously unaffiliated, including atheists and agnostics, have increased 6 percent in the same amount of time, non-christian followers also increased slightly. Atheist blogger and author Hemant Mehta, joins us to discuss the meaning of the study's findings.

The debate over school choice has raged ever since a school voucher program was implement during the Jeb Bush administration in the early 2000's. The program was deemed unconstitutional and struck down by the Florida Supreme Court in 2006. Still, there is the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, which gives tax breaks to those who donate to a private school's scholarship program, which many who oppose the plan say is a roundabout voucher program.

A conservative Christian group is asking church leaders to ramp up political advocacy. During one of several statewide “rallies” on Tuesday in Tampa, leaders with the Who Will Stand campaign showed a video telling pastors it’s OK to talk politics.
