Update: 29 October 2012 - The Supreme Court will not hear arguments in this case.
Today, the United States Supreme Court will decide whether to hear arguments in a case against five people from the Holy Land Foundation jailed for giving humanitarian aid to a group alleged to have ties to terrorism. Yesterday a small contingent of local activists waved signs on a street corner near USF Tampa to protest the conviction of the Holy Land Five.

Civil rights hero John Lewis is not backing down from his controversial remarks regarding the John McCain campaign.
The 68-year-old Georgia Democratic Congressman said last week that Republicans are "sowing the seeds of hatred and division" by saying Barack Obama was "palling around" with terrorists.
Lewis invoked George Wallace, the former segregationist governor of Alabama, saying, "He never fired a gun, but he created the climate and conditions that encouraged vicious attacks again...
