The National September 11th Memorial will open to the public in New York City in time to recognize the 10 year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Located at the site of the former World Trade Center in New York City, the memorial will honor the nearly 3,000 victims who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001 and the bombing in February 1993.
