Report on Hillsborough environment sees red listen

This morning, the Environmental Protection Commission, or EPC, of Hillsborough County received the annual State of the Environment Report and heard how the commission will trim $820,000 from its budget.

The Tampa Bay Clean Air Partnership (CAP) is an air-quality initiative geared toward reducing vehicle exhaust and traffic congestion. Today at the InterContinental Hotel in Tampa’s Westshore district, CAP held a lunchtime ceremony to honor organizations committed to reducing the air pollution generated by transportation.
