Authorities in Haiti fear the death toll of yesterday’s massive earthquake to be in the thousands, though they have yet to offer an official number. Late this afternoon local Hatian solidarity groups met at Good Samaritan World Outreach Ministries to plan their relief efforts for Haiti’s earthquake victims. Local groups like Prince Charles Scholars, and Heart to Heart Caribbean Ministry united around the effort to establish contact and relief for friends and family that are still in Haiti.
