Sustainable Living and Alternative Health | Listen to this entire show:
On today’s Sustainable Living Program we hosted the producer of the documentary film Farmageddon, which brings to light incidences of government interference into our ability to produce and purchase healthy foods for our families. Kristin Canty joined us by phone, while our local chapter leader of the Weston A. Price Foundation, Sarah Pope, was in the studio to discuss the new film. Farmers and buying clubs across the county are being targeted by the government for providing raw milk and dairy products, grass-fed meat products and other healthy, nutrient dense products to friends, relatives and customers. The Farmageddon will be shown this Thursday at the Roosevelt 2.0 Community Center, located at 1812 15th Street in Ybor City. Sounds like it has sold out two showings with 4 PM and 7:30 PM start times. Between the films local restaurants and farmers will be set up at 6 PM for free samples and food for sale. Kristen will speak before the 7:30 show. The Weston A. Price Foundation website is www.wapf.org and Sarah’s local chapter contact information is listed there. Please note that the Roosevelt has no elevator for the 4PM second floor presentation (the 7:30 presentation is on the ground floor).
