Saturday is the ten year anniversary of the death of Rachel Corrie; the American college student was killed in the Israeli-occupied Gaza Strip on March 16, 2003 while trying to prevent a family’s home from being destroyed.

Last April I interviewed Rachel’s parents, Cindy and Craig Corrie when they were in Tampa attending the United Methodist Church General Conference. They were trying to get the church to divest from companies supplying the Israeli occupation: Caterpillar, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard.

Listen to the full interview with Cindy and Craig Corrie here. It’s from WMNF’s Last Call in April 2012.

Rachel Corrie’s cousin Beth spoke at Eckerd College in 2007.

Here’s WMNF’s full coverage of Rachel Corrie.
