Last Call Friday | Listen to this entire show:

More than half a million couples in Florida are in violation of a law that has been on the books since the 1800's by virtue of their cohabitation. 104 people have reportedly been charged under the law in the last twelve months. One Republican state lawmaker has set his sites on changing that. On today's Last Call we heard from GOP Representative Ritch Workman of Melbourne who filed a bill during the last legislative session that would repeal the state statutes penalizing adultery and cohabitation, as well as a handful of other laws that he believes are cluttering up our state constitution. He said he plans to file the bill again in the coming session.

We also heard from Ed Ericsson, Program Manager of Hillsborough Community College's Digital Television and Media Production Program about a new collaboration between WMNF and HCC's internet station "Hawk Radio" which began streaming live on our HD4 channel on September 1.
