This week during the sentencing phase of his court martial, Army Private Bradley Manning apologized for leaking tens of thousands of government documents. Earlier he was found not guilty of aiding the enemy, but was guilty of a host of other charges and faces up to 90 years in prison.

Even though Manning remains in detention in Maryland, supporters here plan to "Welcome Home Bradley Manning" Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m at Tampa International Airport.

WMNF’s Seán Kinane spoke with Chris Ernesto from St. Pete for Peace about why they’re organizing the symbolic welcome.
