Tampa voter given provisional ballot because she didn't bring photo ID
Florida voters need to bring picture identification to the polls. One voter learned that the hard way Tuesday morning at a precinct in east Tampa. Inside the Cathedral of Faith Church on North 30th Street, Elaine â she did not want to give her last name â was surprised to learn she could not vote on a regular ballot because she didnât bring picture ID.
Elaine was given a provisional ballot instead. They are evaluated separately from other ballots and counted if the canvassing board determines the person is eligible to vote in that district.comments powered by Disqus
