The Dream and the Movies

08/28/13 Warren Elly and Bob Ross
Last Call Wednesday | Listen to this entire show:

Warren Elly and Bob Ross dedicate today's show to the 50th Anniversary of King Dream Speech. This a special day is the day that some say Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the greatest speech in American history, from the steps of the Lincoln memorial. In the same breath perhaps as Lincoln’s Gettysburg address, and John F. Kennedy’s inaugural “ask not what your country can do for you” speech, Dr. King’s Dream most agree is incomplete. Much has changed, but Dr. King many suspect would still be fighting today for economic equality & opportunity, as he was the day he died in Memphis in 1968.
