Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Thursday) | Listen to this entire show:
Today Radioactivity discusses the government shutdown vote last night and shares audio from Senator Marco Rubio.
Later, host Rob Lorei speaks with Stephen Kinzer about his new book, “The Brothers: John Foster Dulles, Allen Dulles, and Their Secret World War.” The book travels back to the 1950s, where two powerful brothers under President Eisenhower controlled the overt and covert sides of American foreign policy - John Foster Dulles was Secretary of State, Allen Dulles director of the CIA. Together they planned overthrows in countries like Iran, Guatemala, and the Congo. And they helped lead us into war in Vietnam.
Rob also speaks with Frank Lupo of stop.dukeripoff.org about how the Public Service Commission may be on the verge of deciding if Duke Energy can keep the billions of dollars it’s charged customers for two nuclear power plants that will never be built. Listen to the full show above.
