Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. Our country is still in recession. And there are several schools of thoughts about how to reduce unemployment. Is the solution more tax cuts? Or is it more investment by the government? Our guest, Dave Johnson is a Fellow at Campaign for America's Future, writing about American manufacturing, trade and economic/industrial policy. He is also a Senior Fellow with Renew California.

Dave has more than 20 years of technology industry experience including positions as a CEO and VP of marketing. Recently he wrote a column for in which he said "The Rich Don't Create Jobs, We Do." He joins us now from his home in Redwood California.

Rebel without a clue…

Hay Dave… I read your article, and as usual… the “Progressive” doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground. Ayn Rand’s “parasites” are the govment… not “We the People” as you have so haphazardly misidentified. It kinda makes most of your article irrelevant. I loved that you used your own company as an example of “Demand Creates Jobs”. The part about “…If I had extra money I wouldn't just hire people to sit around and read the paper…” You’re not supposed to … dummy!!! You use that money to EXPAND your business… then you hire folks. Obviously… you have no great desire to grow your business. How do I know that??? When you say “…paying taxes means you are already making money, which means you have already hired the right number of people…” it’s a dead give-away!!! Oh yeah… and “Democracy Creates Jobs”??? What the hell’s going on over in China??? Dude… getta clue…

Oops... you were right about one thing.

Oh wait a minute... democracy DOES create jobs... and we're farming them out to China. Why??? Because we assess the highest business taxes on the face of the planet!!!

Business buys goods at the cheapest cost, where they find the cheapest labor. You're reference to tax rates is bogus and simple fits the right wing agenda.

Reduced Taxes = Reduced Slave Labor

As a “progressive” you must be right. How could a Corporate Tax rate of 39.2% possibly have an impact on whether or not a company expands its business here… or somewhere else like Schitekanistan???

Oil in this job making...

Oil companies making "BIG" profit and "We the people" take it up the prevebal highway . . . Wsahington is not looking out for "We the little people"

i like taking it in the highway

i like taking it in the highway and i voted for obama so i can marry my bf
