The U.S. House passed the cybersecurity bill known as CISPA last week and in a major push today online activists are urging the Senate to reject it. They’re organizing a “CISPA Blackout” today – they’re turning websites and social media avatars black. One activist in Tampa, who agreed to an interview on the condition we not use her name because she is concerned about retribution for her organizing, has been involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement and is active in opposing CISPA.
