Last Friday, the Obama administration announced proposed fuel efficiency standards for passenger cars and trucks should be 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025. The standards will be phased in.

Our guest is Melissa Meehan Baldwin. She's the Florida climate organizer for the Florida Conservation Alliance, which is the Florida affiliate of the League of Conservation Voters.

We took calls about the proposed CAFE standards, Congress' Transportation Reauthorization Bill, bicycles and more about transportation and conservation.
