Last Call Friday

Tonight – ONCE AGAIN, America waits a racially charged verdict and worries what people will do when it comes in.

This time it’s the case of George Zimmerman, the man who killed Trayvon Martin. Now the jury must decide if it was a case of self-defense , of stand your ground. OR was it 2nd degree murder, vigilante justice

Lots of media hype tonight about what the reaction to the verdict will be…some prominent members of the community are saying predictions of riots if Zimmerman is acquitted are overblown and offensive…Former Hillsborough NAACP President Curtis Stokes telling the Tribune, ”I think the African-American Community is beyond rioting, we’re for peaceful protest”.
