Conservative news outlets have claimed the Obama administration altered talking points on the 2012 Benghazi attack 12-times. Other allegations have surfaced claiming the words Al Qaeda were removed. The White House is denying those claims saying there was only one change made to the CIA-approved talking points and that was only changing "consulate" to "diplomatic post." The new NATO commander of the international military operation in Libya says he's looking into reports that air strikes on Tripoli have killed at least 40 civilians. Lieutenant General Charles Bouchard, a Canadian now heading the international operation, noted the alleged incident happened before NATO took command early Thursday.

A new poll says embattled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has approval ratings nearly as low as Newt Gingrich when he was the primary lightning rod in Congress.
The CNN/Opinion Research survey last night found that the approval of how Pelosi is doing her job as speaker has dropped from 51 percent in January to 46 percent in March to 39 percent now, with 48 percent saying they disapprove of her performance.

Charges from former press secretary Scott McClellan that the Bush White House manipulated sources of public opinion to the president's advantage have drawn quick reaction from those who know and once worked with him, according to the Associated Press.

Last night at the University of South Floridaâs Sun Dome, an audience of several hundred gathered to hear a lecture by former CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. In her speech, Wilson shared details of how and why she believes her secret identity as a covert operative within the spy agency was betrayed by members of the Bush administration in 2003.
