Hometown Democracy is the proposed amendment to Florida's Constitution that would allow voters to decide on changes to local comprehensive plans. It's on the ballot this November. Ryan Houck is executive director of Citizens for Lower Taxes and a Stronger Economy (http://www.Florida2010.org) and Ward Friszolowski is former mayor of St. Petersburg Beach.
