The National Weather Service Tampa Bay reported strong thunderstorms in Pasco, Hernando and Hillsborough counties today with gusty winds and even public sightings of a funnel cloud near Thonotosassa. Pasco is under a flood warning.

Hillsborough County Commissioners are still trying to get to the bottom of how county money was spent on the opulent new Brandon Community Advantage Center called the Regent.
