The Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR today called on the FBI to investigate a shooting attack in which a man perceived as "Middle Eastern" and Muslim was shot in the face at least twice with a pellet gun.

While groups around the country are remembering the victims of 9/11, other groups are marking the day for a different reason. A group of Peace activists rallied at USF and downtown Tampa today to remind people that American lives weren’t the only ones lost as a result of the attacks that day.
