Hundreds of people from the Muslim community and their supporters crowded the corner of The Fowler Avenue and 56th St.
Mohammad Joseph Salamaeh was one of the first to arrive to the large protest near USF Tampa. The brother of a man convicted of plotting terrorism says it was an FBI setup. Avni Osmakac lashed out at the government during a press conference Tuesday in front of the federal courthouse in Tampa. That’s where his brother Sami was found guilty last month of trying to possess a weapon of mass destruction.

Security and health officials say 60 people have been killed across Egypt after tens of thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters took to the streets in defiance of a military-imposed state of emergency following bloodshed earlier this week.
As military helicopters circled overhead, residents pelted the Brotherhood protesters with rocks and glass bottles. The two sides also fired on one another, sparking running street battles.

Our guest today was Issam Azziz. He is suing the auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers for employment discrimination. He was fired in July 2009 from his position as senior audit manager in their Tampa office. Azziz says he was let go because he is an Arab, a Muslim, and was critical of PricewaterhouseCooperâs diversity hiring practices.
