Legislation that could undo the effects of the controversial Hobby Lobby Supreme Court ruling is stalled in Congress. The “Not my Boss’s Business Act” would force employers who don’t offer health insurance that includes contraceptive coverage to start carrying it even though the Supreme Court said they don’t have to. It’s been a week and a half since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the retail chain Hobby Lobby and other corporations could refuse birth control coverage if it contradicts its religious edicts. Groups across the nation are continuing to show outrage through creative protests. Here in Tampa, about 40 activists took to the federal courthouse Thursday with signs condemning the decision.

A landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling Monday sided with the retail chain Hobby Lobby that argued they shouldn’t have to pay for contraceptives.
