A bill waiting for the Governor’s signature could reduce personal injury protection fraud and eventually reduce auto insurance premiums in Florida. But another consequence would be that accident victims would no longer be able to use PIP to cover massage therapy or acupuncture because those services are not considered emergency medical treatments.
