Environmentalists rallied for clean air this morning in downtown Tampa. Their demand for less smog goes hand in hand with their call for reducing the rising rates of asthma in children.

First up today: gasoline prices. The national average for a gallon of regular gas hit another record today, coming in at $3.776 per gallon, according to an overnight survey of 85,000 filling stations conducted by the AAA.

The increase is the fourth day this week that gas prices hit an all-time high; it came as prices increased for the seventh consecutive week, with the cumulative increase totaling just over 46-cents, according to the Energy Information Administration.
