USF students are planning a protest Thursday night against shorter library hours.

But instead of a traditional “sit-in,” the activists are staging a “sit-out” outside the shuttered library where they used to do late night studying on the Tampa campus.

WMNF News spoke with Larry Roop, a 1st year student majoring in nursing and with another organizer, Melissa Garzon, a 2nd year student majoring in sociology.
