WMNF Live Jazz Series
Experience Live Jazz in an Intimate Setting
WMNF has the newest jazz venue in town. Come be a part of an intimate audience in our Mike Eisenstadt Live Music Studio every second* Thursday at 7:30 pm. You might hear a little improvisation, swing, groove, or bebop; you’ll definitely get a taste pf complex harmonies and unusual rhythms by a wide variety of local and national musicians.
Tickets are $20 advance purchase and $25 the day of the show. Seating is limited. For ticket information, call 813-238-8001 during business hours to reserve seats.

April 10 Henry Ashwood Canceled
April's concert is canceled. Look for a great show in May!Florida Native and Jazz musician Henry Ashwood, Jr. has been playing music for more than forty years. The St. Petersburg resident first began playing saxophone in elementary school, and continued his music career by joining the military and playing in the world renowned Army Band for twenty-four years. Today, he performs around the country, blending everything from traditional jazz to classical to fusion. When he’s not performing, Ashwood teaches saxophone, flute, clarinet, oboe, and piano, in addition to being an inventor. Ashwood lists Charlie Parker, Hank Crawford, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Sonny Stilt and Sonny Rollins as his primary influences.
The concerts are recorded and replayed on various jazz programs, including Saturday's Charles Vann Memorial Jazz Party.
The Live Music Studio offers an intimate setting for an audience of 25 who get to interact with the band and this month's emcee, ADTBJA member Kenny Walker.
WMNF is seeking sponsors for each performance.
