Today, Politifact Editor Angie Drobnic Holan gives us a run-down on the nominees for the fact-checking website’s 2014 Lie of the year, the top statements rated as false or “pants on fire” false by Politifact. This year’s picks range in topic from healthcare and job growth to ISIS and Ebola. Winners will be decided by separate editor’s and reader’s polls. Next, we speak with Michael Saltsman, Research Director of Employment Policies Institute, a Washington-based research organization opposed to raising the minimum wage.
