The interaction between host, guests and listeners makes the Sunday Forum a superb call-in show. The show has featured such guests as Congressman Alcee Hastings, State Representative Frederika Wilson, State Senator Les Miller, former head of Tampa's Olympic Committee Ed Turanchik, County Commissioner Pat Frank, City Council Members Kevin White and Gwen Miller, Betty Castor and Alex Peneles,both Senate Candidates.
The program also features authors, poets, film makers, journalists and professors who are experts in public policy, history and international affairs. The two hour talk show format also features a segment called the Sunday Forum Spotlight which highlights the achievements of successful African-Americans in our community and another segment called Tips For Better Healthcare, which views preventive healthcare as an act of personal empowerment.
The Sunday Forum also invites poems, excerpts and motivational quotes from listeners and writers at the end of each show. In short, the Sunday Forum is a two hour highly charged call in talk show that is global as well as local in its impact.
