Hip Hop Flavors is the best damn hip hop show period. Oh you didn't know???

Hosted by DJ lazy alongside B.C. & Nilla, it's an outlet for the oldest of the old and the newest of the new and everything in between in Hip Hop Culture. The three-hour mix features new, cutting edge, indy/underground hip hop that can't be found anywhere else on the dial.

Flavors also provides an outlet for the many talented local artists throughout Tampa Bay and the rest of Florida, often giving artists their first exposure on the air. You can also count on hearing from some of your favorite (or soon to be favorite artists) who call in to chat. Past interviews have included Zion I, The Jungle Brothers, Humpty Hump, Buckshot, E-Swift, Sole, Deepspace 5, WeeBeeFoolish, Hangar 18, Aceyalone, Afu Ra, Grouch & Eligh, Pigeon John, Astract Rude, and many others. All this is mixed together with a healthy dose of humor, turntable trickery and opinionated rants. Come listen to the show and see why it really is, "the best damn hip hop show period."

The Energy Bar) is a show that will "Note-triciously" get you back into your peak form and have you "dancing" on the pedals like a world class cyclist. Or just dancing, for that matter. Full of a variety of kinetic music from all formats across the world, the Energy Bar will exploit music's most uniting and giving feature: energy. Plus... it has electrolytes!
Please join me as I embark each Wednesday on a musical journey not entirely unlike that pursued by Flee, Amy, Nell & The Rebel (did you know there's a "Sonic Detour Mix" we all ostensibly aim for?), traversing all sorts of genres, blending new music with old, and I typically include some covers as well as a comedy snippet or two.

Plus, the show is laced with the Hightower Report, headlines from NPR and the WMNF news team, traffic reports each half hour, CD and ticket giveaways, and more. And we're fortunate enough to have WMNF's local music maven, Bev Capshaw, deliver a segment each Wednesday, just after 5pm, spotlighting a local artist. We also now have the supreme privilege of airing recently-recorded local StoryCorps segments we're calling "Community Voices"--you can hear those each show, some time after 5:30pm.

I periodically contribute to a terrific [music blog](http://afterhoursmusicblog.blogspot.com/), and I also host "[Talking Animals](http://talkinganimals.net/)," a program about animals & animal issues that airs on WMNF the first two Wednesdays of each month at 11:30am. . I invite you to check them out, and of course I hope you'll check out the Wednesday Sonic Detour. Thanks.

After almost 20 years in the "so late it's actually early" freeform overnight timeslot, host Dennis Stone brings The Dream Clinic to an evening audience.
If you are tuning in for the first time I'd like to ask you to try The Dream Clinic out for three or four weekly episodes to get the full effect. For many years I have brought to the airwaves one of the most diverse playlists imaginable... music from a timespan of almost four decades... music from every continent on this Earth.

Music ranging from psychedelic to the blues to progressive rock to folk to good old hard and heavy rock! For the lack of a better description... you might call this show, "the soundtrack of my long ago wild and wicked youth!!" You could hear music from a rare 1968 LP... or music recorded one month ago by a band playing in the style of "my generation."

I'm Dennis Stone inviting you to take a chance on The Dream Clinic.. you won't be disappointed!
