Here’s a short interview WMNF’s Seán Kinane did on January 19, 2022, with Tampa Mayor Jane Castor via Zoom while she was in Washington with the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The interview happened before the announcement that MLB rejected the Rays’ idea to split seasons with Montreal. She touched on issues such as affordable housing in the Tampa Bay area, as well as the continuing efforts to combat the Omicron variant of the coronavirus. It aired on WMNF’s Tuesday Café.
