The Halloween Trick-or-Treating Tailgate Party
Thursday, October 31 from 5:01PM to 7:01PM
This Halloween the whole neighborhood is invited to do your trick-or-treating in a fun and safe new way. Our first ever Trick-or-Treating Tailgate Party is coming up on Halloween Night–Thursday, October 31st. Everyone is invited to pull their car in to the Seminole Heights United Methodist parking lot and set up to celebrate the night tailgate party-style. The lot will open at 5pm, and everyone is welcome to bring dinner items for your group. Bring lawn chairs, tents, or whatever else it takes to help you have a great tailgate. After dinner, it’s time to break out the candy stash! At 6pm we will gather all of the little costumed candy consumers together to travel in small groups of 3-4, escorted by our youth group students and leaders, so that groups don’t get too bunched up, to go from tailgate to tailgate for trick-or-treating. If joining us for the tailgate party, please bring treats for trick-or-treaters that will be coming to visit you. We’ll be inviting children and youth 8th grade and below to participate in the trick-or-treating part of the night, and we expect that we could have as many as 250 participants, so please plan on around that many guests coming by your tailgate with open hands, claws, paws, hooks, or hooves; depending on their costume! Hope to see you there!
