Dr. Patricia Altagracia Alonzo is a native of Chicago and resides in Hillsborough County since 2003. Her educational background is a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia College Chicago in American Sign Language Interpreting and minor in Journalism; a Masters Degree in Education; and a Doctorate Degree. EdD, from Nova Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership. In the last 25 years she has been in the language access space, education, non-profit, and corporate environment. She has been in service to the community for most of her professional life fighting for social justice and ran for public office in 2024. Her journalism background serves as a pathway for this show on WMNF.
