“Lessons In Leadership” on Morning Energy

Share
On December 3, 2018,  CNN.com published an article about the personal account of a former Chairman and CEO of Baxter International who shared a 3-hour plan ride with former U.S. President George H.W. Bush in March of 2000. The author, (who identified himself as”Harry” in the article), wrote that despite Bush’s tremendous accomplishments, he came across as a warm, gracious, and regular guy who was also a “values-based leader“Harry” was not the only person that had positive things to say about former President Bush, especially as it relates to his leadership skills. Josef Joffe, a member of the editorial council of the German Newspaper (Die Zeit), stated that “We had a leader in Bush who had a superb sense of timing, who knew when to coddle and when to cajole.”
There are opportunities for leadership in all areas of our lives. On morning energy, we are going to spend time not only reflecting over the life of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush but we will also be discussing the importance of leadership in various areas of our lives.
