Amanda Streets of Living Roots Ecodesign joins Anni Ellis on today’s Sustainable Living Show to discuss native and edible landscape design. Amanda Streets is a mother, life-long gardener, and former teacher. Amanda is a certified Florida Friendly Landscaping professional, a soil health expert, and founder of both Pinellas Community Compost and Living Roots Eco Design, an ecological landscaping and consulting business.

Topics discussed:

-what is the procedure when preparing a design for a native and edible landscape

-why should someone choose a native and edible landscape

-food forest plants

-designing under the constraints of HOAs

-how to properly plant a tree

-popular natives and edible to grow in your landscape

-design considerations

and more!
