Jane Hurley, RD, co-author of RESTAURANT CONFIDENTIAL (Workman Publishing) discussed the dangers of some of the food served at chain restaurants around the country. Hurley is on the staff of the Center For Science In The Public Interest, which has been studying the high levels of calories and saturated fat in the typical restaurant meal. She told of how to choose healthy food at restaurants and why certain foods which may appear healthy are actually dangerous for our cardio-vascular health.
