BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY DAY Tuesday, May 22, Grand Ballroom - Mahaffey, 7 pm featuring 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Sheila Watt-Cloutier
The evening included a special guest appearance by 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Sheila Watt-Cloutier. Ms. Watt-Cloutier has served as President for The Inuit Circumpolar Conference or ICC, Canada, and as the International Chair for ICC International, which is a multinational non-governmental organization (NGO) representing the 150,000 Inuit people living in the United States, Canada, Greenland, and Russia.
Currently, she is heavily engaged in climate change initiatives to persuade states to reduce their emission of greenhouse gases and other persistent organic pollutants.
