From A Woman's Point of View | Listen to this entire show:

Fanni Green, a professor of theatre and culture at the University of South Florida Tampa campus, discusses the play "In the Next Room by Sarah Ruhl. Sarah Ruhl the author has said that In the N ext Room "is not a sex farce about vibrators. It's about wet nurses; it's about the body. It's misleading to say it is purely about the object." Fanni says that to her, "In The Next room" is about discovery, longing, breastfeeding, "electric" connections, love, inventions and the human touch. Luckily for all, Sarah Ruhl a MacArthur award winning playwright, is up to the formidable task. Tia Strachen and Jasmine Hudson discuss their roles in the play. "In the Next Room" will be at the School of Theatre and Dance at the University of South Florida and will run April 11-13th and April 17th-20th at 8 pm. April 14th and 21st at 3 pm. for more information go to 813-974-2323 or www.arts.usf.edu
