Floridians get SunRail; Colbert gets his super PAC07/01/11 Lisa Marzilli, Beth Bell
Last Call Friday | Listen to this entire show:
Federally subsidized high speed rail wasn't good enough for Governor Rick Scott, but apparently SunRail is. Today the Governor endorsed the controversial Central Florida commuter rail project which is expected to cost close to $3 billion. On today's Last Call we heard excerpts from Scott's presser announcing his decision to approve the project.
We also checked in with WMNF reporter Kate Bradshaw, live on the scene of a Food Not Bombs solidarity feeding of the hungry in Tarpon Springs.
And on a lighter note we also heard an excerpt of Stephen Colbert's announcement that his application to form a super PAC ("Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow") had been approved by the Federal Elections Commission on Thursday.
