Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity, I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up we’ll hear part of a very interesting debate last night in Pinellas Park where the Republican candidates to replace the late Congressman Bill Young were invited to a debate. But first- a listener comment about yesterday’s program. Yesterday we talked about the hurdles still facing the medical marijuana amendment from getting on the ballot….Here’s what one listener had to say….

Tape Two of the three Republicans running in the January 14th primary to replace congressman Bill Young took part in a debate last night in Pinellas Park. Former Washington lobbyist David Jolly and retired Marine Corps General Mark Bircher stood in front of a crowd of 150 people. The third candidate-Kathleen peters had a scheduling conflict and did not attend. We’re going to listen to the first part of the debate and then take your phone calls.

We’ll first hear questions posed by Tea Party activist David McKalip and blogger Peter Schorcsh. The first question from McKalip went to Bircher.
