Our guest today is former central Florida member of Congress Alan Grayson who had a reputation as one of the most outspoken members of the House. Grayson is the former Democratic member of Congress from Florida's 8th congressional district, serving from 2009 until 2011. His former district included parts of Orlando, Winter Park, portions of unincorporated Orange County, as well as Celebration, Walt Disney World and parts of Lake County, Marion County and Ocala. Grayson was defeated for re-election in 2010 by Republican Daniel Webster.

Recently Grayson announced he will run again for Congress—although the new Congressional districts have not yet been drawn. He’ll be speaking next Saturday night October 15 in Spring Hill at the annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner (FMI: 352-596-2996).
