Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up we’ll talk with Bob Kealing who’s written a new biography of musician Gram Parsons. In the 1960’s and early 1970’s Gram Parsons pioneered the country rock movement. He helped create a new sound that would inspire the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Dwight Yokum, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, and Steve Earle. Gram Parsons lived here in Central Florida for much of his formative years… and there’s a new biography of Parsons--- CALLING ME HOME. It was written by Bob Kealing who is a TV reporter at WESH in Orlando. Bob Kealing will be speaking tomorrow at the Times Festival of Reading. Bob Kealing joins us now.
