On the first part of today's program we'll talk with three members of the Letter Carrier's Union about rallies scheduled across the country today in every congressional district to oppose proposals to cut service. Our guests are all members of the National Association of Letter carriers. They are Al Freedman the state vice president, Alan Peacock who is president of the Tampa local and Joe Henschen who is executive vice president of the Pinellas Park local. Later in the program we'll talk with Wendell Potter who is a former health insurance executive who wrote a book last year called DEADLY SPIN (Bloomsbury Press) on how the health insurance industry adversely affects health care and health care reform in the U.S. He'll be speaking tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Church on Nursery Road in Clearwater.
