"Talking Animals" Celebrates 10th Anniversary June 19 With Live Broadcast Of Animals Songs
Hey, here’s a program special for you: Talking Animals will celebrate its 10th anniversary June 19 with a live broadcast of animal songs performed by notable musicians from the Tampa Bay music scene.
I launched the program on June 13, 2003 at KUCI, the University of California at Irvine campus and community radio station. “Talking Animals” first aired on WMNF in November of 2005.
And so, to celebrate the 10th anniversary, the June 19 edition of the program (at 9am ET!) will feature local luminaries performing animal songs—a full band, involving a large, fabulous crew, taking flight in the Live Music Studio, with a handful of vocalists each singing an animal tune.
The flock of folks holding forth includes Rebekah Pulley (who created the show’s spiffy new opening theme), Ronny Elliott, Judy Tampa, Gracie Grieshop, Harry Hayward, Anne Van Atta, George Pappas, John McEwen, Mark Murphy & WMNF's own Scott Elliott!
I invite you to join the party by tuning in live on June 19, at 9am ET, on WMNF 88.5 FM, or online at WMNF.org. Thanks! ~Duncan http://www.talkinganimals.net/ http://www.facebook.com/talkinganimals
