WMNF Celebrates Homegrown Heroes: An Afternoon of Art, Activism and Accolades
On Sunday August 19, WMNF Community Radio will hold our 1st Annual WMNF Celebrates Homegrown Heroes at the Gulfport Casino. The event honors individuals and organizations throughout Tampa Bay who are sowing the seeds of equality, peace, and social, economic, and environmental justice here at home.
In keeping with the one-of-a-kind Tampa Bay theme, we’ll also be celebrating our community’s homegrown music, art, and culture with live entertainment and a silent auction featuring unique items you won’t find anywhere else.
We would like the community to nominate individuals to be recognized for the good works they do in the Tampa Bay region. Please fill out the form below to tell us about your nominee.
The nomination period is open from June 15th to July 15th.
There are three nomination categories:
Youth (25 and under)
Individual
Group
You can fill out a nomination form. Please fill out only one form per individual or group, but also feel free to nominate several people or groups.
