Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Presents: All Shades, All Hues–A Celebration of Song in Jazz

This February, Al Downing Jazz is coming home to the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African-American Museum to celebrate Black History Month. ‘All Shades, All Hues: A Celebration of Song in Jazz’ will feature lyrical interpretations of the classic jazz works of Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Jon Hendricks, and other greats performed by acclaimed jazz singer/songwriter Scotty Wright. Backed by a stellar lineup of some of the Tampa Bay area’s finest musicians, Scotty’s talent and depth of knowledge of the music is second to none.
