Lecture: “The Arts’ Influence on Healthcare” with Judy Raab

Judy Raab is a Certified Music Practitioner, hospital musician in residence, and harpist.  She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Florida in the Arts in Medicine.  Contracted by health system Spiritual/Pastoral Care departments, she provides soothing music for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

A contributor to the British Journal of Applied Arts & Health, she has been published on the subject of live music to improve the hospital experience.  This program will present an overview of the emerging arts in the health field, along with a performance of relaxing harp music.
