Gulfport is celebrating Independence Day early at a family-friendly event at the Historic Gulfport Casino on Monday, July 3.

The Gulfport Senior Center and the Gulfport Senior Center Foundation are hosting the Stars & Stripes BBQ Celebration starting at 5 pm. Proceeds support the Gulfport Senior Center Building Fund Campaign.

The event includes BBQ with all the fixin’s, music, dancing and cash bar. Tickets will be available in advance or at the door, including one drink ticket, good for soda, beer or wine.

Gulfport’s Community Emergency Response Team, aka CERT, volunteers will be doing the cooking. Entertainment will be announced soon.

Tickets are available at the Gulfport Senior Center, the Foundation office, the Gulfport Casino and Gulfport Beach Bazaar or may also be purchased online at Eventbrite.
